  1. Video Librarian Installation Instructions
  2. =========================================
  3. Video Librarian is a dos program but is compatible with Win 3.1 and Win
  4. 95.  The program comes with two installation routines. One to install the
  5. program strickly as a dos application. The other routine will install the
  6. program to be run from a program group from Win 3.1 or Windows 95.

  9. DOS INSTALLATION AND START-UP
  10.  
  11. 1. Insert the Video Librarian disk in the A or B drive as applicable.
  12.  
  13. 2. Type A:\INSTALL or B:\INSTALL as applicable.
  14.  
  15. 3. Follow the on screen instructions.
  16.  
  17. NOTE: If you downloaded the program from a BBS, after unzipping the
  18. program, change to the directory where you unzipped the program and type
  19. INSTALL and follow the on screen instructions.
  20.  
  21. To start the program after installation change to the directory where you
  22. installed the program (normally C:\VIDEO40) and type VLB and press the
  23. enter key.  To get to the correct directory type the following:
  24.  
  25.                           CD\
  26.                           CD\VIDEO40
  27.                           VLB
  28.  
  29. Press the ENTER key after each line above.

  32. WINDOWS 3.1 INSTALLATION and START-UP
  33.  
  34. 1. Start Windows and the Program Manager
  35.  
  36. 2. Choose File|RUN
  37.  
  38. 3.Type A:\SETUP.EXE or B:\SETUP.EXE as applicable.
  39.  
  40. 4. Answer Yes to the question "Install icons in Program Manager?"
  41.  
  42. NOTE: If you downloaded the program from a BBS, after unzipping the
  43. program choose FILE|RUN and type the drive and path where the file is
  44. located followed by SETUP.EXE. For example: C:\TEMP\SETUP.EXE and follow
  45. the instructions.

  47. To start the program, click the TurboSystemsCo DOS Apps group, then double
  48. click the Video Librarian icon.  To switch between full screen mode and a
  49. dos window mode press the ALT + ENTER key.

  51. WINDOWS 95 INSTALLATION and START-UP
  52.  
  53. 1. From Windows 95 Click the Start button, point to Settings, then click
  54. the Control Panel.
  55.  
  56. 2. On the Control Panel, double click Add/Remove programs.
  57.  
  58. 3. Follow the on screen instructions.
  59.  
  60. 4. Answer Yes to the question: "Install icons in Program Manager?"
  61.  
  62. NOTE: If you downloaded the program from a BBS, after unzipping the
  63. program start the Windows Exployer, navigate to the directory where
  64. you unzipped the file and double click on SETUP.EXE. Follow the on
  65. screen instructions and the program will be installed.

  67. To start the program, click the start button, then Programs, then
  68. TurboSystemsCo DOS Apps then double click the Video Librarian icon.
  69. Press the ALT + ENTER key to switch between full screen an dos window
  70. mode for the program.
